About the Company

Jeff Franklin presents the client the opportunity to collaborate in the experience of creating a comprehensive design which features hardscape, gardens, pools and other site features (i.e. ponds, water gardens, fountains, trellises, treehouses, playgrounds, bathhouses and outdoor kitchens.)

Jeff believes in “single source design build,” where the end product is a cohesive vision developed from the architecture of the home, the character of the site, and the imagination of those involved to create a pleasing outdoor living experience.

About Jeff

Jeff Franklin began his outdoor building career when he and his wife, Barbara, moved to the Valley and began his landscape design build business.  His interest in building began in high school, when he worked for Harvard University’s Black Rock Forest in New York.  His participation in the construction of vistas, foot trails and bridges gave him experience in felling timber, operating heavy equipment, and testing trees and shrubs for long range growth and adaptability.  From there he was hooked…

Jeff went on to study horticulture at The Ohio State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree.  He later attended both Arizona State University and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design to study landscape architecture. To this day, he continues to advance and update his knowledge by participating in industry conferences and seminars.

By the mid 1990’s, Jeff’s work had evolved from traditional landscaping and design to more comprehensive outdoor building.  He now specializes in the design and project management of complete outdoor living spaces – building everything on the outside.

Jeff has lived in the Cave Creek Foothills since 1980 with his wife, Barbara, and their three children.
